Website Analysis-
A member of our promotion team first does basic market assessment of the
products and services you offer. After taking notes on the keywords an
individual would use to locate you, we look at the HTML code to identify
the title, description, and keywords tags, to check for maximum
effectiveness according to the guidelines of the major search engines.
After checking the Meta tags we do a keyword density analysis to determine
if the content of the pages (the copy) is written in a way that makes your
site "keyword-dense" for the terms or search phrases your target audience
would enter into a search engine. If not, we will make note of it in a
research report and give suggestions on how to change the density of the
HTML document.
Keyword & Search Engine Analysis-
At this stage, we visit the major search engines and retrieve the results
for the top 5 or 6 keywords and phrases that would be most effective to
target for your site. We analyze the top 10 sites (rankings 1-10) on each
of the major search engines (under each keyword).
We visit several of the sites to analyze the presentation of their products,
the layout and design of their pages, the keyword density of their HTML, and finally analyze
their Meta tags to evaluate why they have achieved a high ranking with that
particular search engine. Through this process we can quickly locate
commonality between many of the top ranked sites. We make note of the
differences in our research report.
Analysis Report-
You will receive a report containing the information our research team
identified during the initial analysis of the effectiveness your site
possesses. In our report, we will make known any trouble areas located
within your site and offer solutions to resolve the potential problem
areas. Trouble areas may include: keyword-density discrepancies in your
text (content), design or layout difficulties, or usability and navigation
issues.
